Our Top 3 Wins in 2022
As 2022 wraps up, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together this year and celebrate our shared successes!
A Refreshed Digital Community
We revamped our community’s digital home this year and are so proud of what Galvanize Together is becoming. This updated (and free, and advertisement-free!) platform gave women a place to make sense of all the big issues together and supercharge their civic power. From quizzes and activities to meaningful and caring conversation, we sure loved seeing our incredible group of women thriving in their new space. Our community talked about gardening, democracy, breakfast foods, drag queens, how to make friends as an adult, and so much more. We learned about journaling, brushed up on media-savvy skills, and took weekly quizzes about current events!
An Outstanding Volunteer Squad
Galvanize Together would not have been possible without our incredible team of volunteer moderators: our community members with a little extra oomph. These generous folks have already given us more than 150 hours of their time just since moving to a new digital home. We’re so grateful for their leadership and help keeping the conversation moving!
Impactful Educational Messages
Best of all, our issue education work reached new heights with our incredible educational ads this year! These videos featuring real families helped us connect with women and strengthen their support for key issues like democracy and paid family leave. They worked—we increased support for reproductive freedom, built trust in our elections, and turned down the noise on toxic narratives and disinformation. These video messages made more than 62 million impressions this year and moved women up to 35 percentage points toward solutions that make our democracy work!
To all of our supporters, partners, volunteers, and on-camera talent, thank you! We truly could not have done this without you. We’re looking forward to building on this success in 2023 as we continue building an America that works better for all of us, together.
